Nice start! the face on the "black winged bird" seems a little large for the face, but it might just be stylized? *shrugs*

Yes, i do notice that, too. Proportion was (& is) still a problem to me when drawing that :). Thank you :).

Nice work you have there. Had to laugh with the small picture of the boy and the bear, was so random and totally different from the rest of your pics.
I must say that I like the line version of the face of the assassin better than the coloured version. I think it's because of the use of textures. I know it can be a stylisation, but I don't think it works very well here to just use an un-warped (or whatever you may call it) texture.
Seems you need some work on your hair as well (not easy, I know). This one (http://www.furiae.com/popup.php?text=hairtutorial) is a good tutorial, and there are more out there (Google is your... right ;))
I really like the motion created in the black and white drawings, and the muscled brute is probably your best one.
Keep it up!

Thank u for the pointers :D. Yeah, these are some random collections of traditional & digital sketches & illustrations that i did. I also like the lineart version of the assassin, simply because it looks more dynamic. The use of the texture was a trial, which obviously didn't come out right at all :D.
I'll be posting more sketches, & i hope u'll like them even better :D.

The first one is Rudy, the Were-tiger. Art by me, & character's copyright belongs to http://avancna.deviantart.com. In here i was trying to conceptualize Rudy advancing to an explosive brawl.
The second & third were a concept depicting a demon holding a dead female. It could be that he was crying over her loss, ofr that she was his sacrifice.
The last two pieces were a fan-art of Stanley "Artgerm" Lau's original character, Pepper. Art by me. Character's copyright belongs to Stanley "Artgerm" Lau of Imaginary Friend studio (http://artgerm.deviantart.com)

Some sketches of a drummer & a vocalist who are females, because i was inspired by Lisa Leveridge :D.
A drawing of an unusual kind of hero. He's not handsome. He's bad tempered & careless. Yet, he always finishes the job, even though the results are not always satisfying.
& last, a fan-art of Solid Snake & my favorite hero, Big Boss a.k.a Naked Snake from the Metal Gear/Solid game. Both characters belong to Hideo Kojima & Konami.

The first one is Rudy, the Were-tiger. The artwork was by me, & the character's copyright belongs to http://avancna.deviantart.com.
The second one is a fan-art of Suikoden Tierkreis that was developed for Nintendo DS. My wife & i are a big fan of the Suikoden game. This was her request to me :D. Both characters belong to Konami.
The third & the fourth pieces are my original character, Croix, that was created by my wife, actually. Croix is a deadly assassin living in the fantasy-set world.

A render of a post-apocalypse world's survivor. He may or may not be a soldier, but he's a survivor, that's for sure. A very skillfully & adept survivor, trained in the art of combat, military, stealth, & survival.
Since now that i realize that this kind of piece is still far away from being "finished", i just decided to upload it to my sketchbook so that every thing will be grouped in 1 place :).

Another survivor from the post-apocalyptic world. His weapons & armors suggest that he may be a part of the government special unit.
I also decided to just upload this piece to my sketchbook since it turned out that this piece is still not able to be called "finished" :).

The original character of http://guenih.deviantart.com, Jarde, who is a mixed-breed of a human & a dwarf. I'm just the artist doing the graphic imagery :D.
I'm not really pleased with the result because i felt like it still missed lots of things, yet, i still didn't know what to add more...

Something lich or undead.. i didn't even know what i was doing. Just scribbles here & there. Stock & smoke texture from Stock Exchange & CG Textures. Got the idea after watching Aaron Sims's workshop.
Stock used:
The Angry Face by ross666, link: http://www.sxc.hu/photo/1213518
The smoke texture, hmm.. i couldn't find where the link is again. I actually ended up erasing the most part of this photo & used Photoshop's default airbrush with low-opacity & low-flow.
