First of all, many apologies if this is posted in the wrong location.

But the current UWE Post Grad Animation class is super excited about First Look, our premier screening to be hosted at the Hen and Chicken on June 16.

It's pretty much an open door event. The door's open. Feel free to come in. Should be a fun evening. So come for a cider and some entertainment and maybe mingle with some folks. We're HOPING to get some of the local industry guru's in including folks from Films@59, Bolex Brothers, A-Productions, and if we're lucky and try really hard...Aardman. Either way...should be an enjoyable kick-back evening with a good mix of different films.

Thanks for the heads up Freddy.

Only live about 45mins away. I'll try and make the trip across if I can, dependent on deadline frenzy. Hope it goes briilliantly whether I make it or not. Pick up some great contacts, why don't you.

Best,
Nick

Damn I'm doing animation at UWE next year, would have been awesome to come and see, but it's on my birthday! Will there be any way to view all of this year's work online?

Hey Rob T, there's a lot more going on I think. I'll dig around and get the info for you.

If you haven't already talked to anyone at UWE yet, the ones to talk to are either Chris Webster (animation head) or Rachel Robinson.

Looks like this is going to be a good evening.

We're trying to get a few items in for a show-night raffle from Imagine as well as an armature supply company.

Also looks like we'll have guests from Films@59, 422 South, and Wonky.

We're also hoping to bring in some of the fine folks from Arthur Cox, Bolex Brothers, Aardman, and the BBC.
