Hey all,

I was just curious to see some portfolios that were awarded the Silas Rhodes Scholarship at SVA. I'm considering attending the school but can't really do so without the scholarship for financial reasons. If you were awarded the scholarship, would you mind linking your portfolio? I'd like to gauge where I am right now in terms of being eligible for the scholarship. Thanks!

I didn't win the Silas H. Rhodes scholarship, but the advice I can give you is to be persistent with communication and needed help and they'll grant you money. I got a merit based scholarship from success in high school, so still apply. It's good to have options

I got an SHR scholarship... it came as quite a pleasant surprise.

Here's the portfolio I sent in, give or take a few pieces... http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showpost.php?p=2076741&postcount=174 Hope it helps! Best of luck.
