this is a reworking of my DSG post from about a week ago based on critique i got...spent about 15 minutes on the new one (smaller image). it's not done, but i figured it'd be good to get some c&c before i make some new and horrible mistake :D

holy shizzle, your lines are damn clean. Cant really comment on much so im gonna have to be really picky, the lips on the second on seem a little wierd. The proportioning of them is fine its just you lines seem to vanish and blend with the shadin. That probably isnt an error its probably just me who thinks this.


still an amazing job, wish i could do lines like that.

Looks nice, really clean. Did you do these on pen and paper then scan it?

these are both pencil on paper...the originals are larger, but for the sake of posting i've resized them. as for the lines, they're that clean when i scan them...i only mess with the levels in photoshop to make them darker, but that's it.

i've gotta say i like the first one much better,it indicates more clearly that it is aphrodite somehow.the second pic could be just anyone.also i like the face better on the first one(probably the eyes).overall i like the first one better.maybe you colour it?

hmm being aphrodite she needs boobies. cant see em. i would expect larger 'hump' at the right side.
why is there a rag over het head. she is supposed to be sexy and apealing, not a nun.
the face is better than the previous one. nothing wrong with big eyes, the right eye is too mugh to the right.
i like the robe's rendering. the folds make sense at the top. at het breast its wrong. since you can see the shape of her breast/ribcage there should be more horizontal lines in it.
somehow you hide fingers behing the apple. her palm looks ok the fingers too short.
