I'm blocking the armor now. First, a kind of a leather shirt.

What a great studio space to work in. It appears you're surrounded by more than a few talented sculptors, and the work on the walls is completely drool-worthy. That's my kind of visual stimuli.

I also like the direction you're taking with this. The hunched posture and the under bite help to create a certain savagery that we've all come to love from orcish characters.

I'm looking forward to seeing your treatment of the armor. I always enjoy seeing how other artists tackle costuming elements.

sculptingmonsters610: Thank you!!!

zedkhov: Thanks, I'm not sure about the painting yet.

KingUnicorn: Thanks a lot! Yeah! This room is the best place to work with art, the Alex Oliver, Rick Fernandes and the students sculptures are a big source of inspiration! Really great to draw or sculpt something.
Hey, your work is awesome!

This was the original concept art, I did some modifications here and there and add the armor too, but i will post the final concept art later.

Time to sculpt the first two parts of the costume.

I've cut the clay with a spatula to have the rectangular shape i need.
Later used the scupture tools i get the width i want and them using some toothpics i can add the small pieces to the model.

Excellent job! I really like the way he looks like he's just about to leap out and attack.

This guy definitely has a certain " brutish" demeaner to his stance. I really like him. The hunched shoulders and neck as well as the lower jaw tells of his intentions. I enjoy all the details. Good work!
