- APPLICATIONS CLOSED -

Hi,

I'm looking to commission a single piece depicting an equine fantasy creature which quite closely resembles a horse; a more detailed description will be given to the selected artist. I will not need exclusive rights to the work and am happy for the artist to do what they like with both the image and the creature concept in future, including selling the image to other parties if they like/are able.

My preferred form of payment is via PayPal, but I'm willing to look into other forms of secure credit card transaction if neccesary, and I'm ideally looking to spend around AU$100-200 (I know it isn't much, sorry!) but will be happy to negotiate higher if neccesary with an appropriately skilled artist.

I have no preference as to the medium with which the image is created, but will need the final result delivered digitally in a lossless image format of the artist's choosing. I would prefer the image be of sufficient size and quality to be printed at A3 size but will be willing to accept work that will print at A4 size depending on cost and difficulty.

I understand that horses can be somewhat of a tricky subject for some artists and will therefore be preferring applications from artists whos portfolios contain previous work with horses or similar creatures, although I'll also consider any other talented artist if you feel you're up to the job but don't have any such sample.

I can be contacted via email at jason.b.adams@gmail.com or via the private messaging functionality of these forums, with email being my preference of the two. I'll be evaluating portfolios over the next week and then negotiating privately with my selected candidate, so my apologies if I don't get back to you right away.

Thanks for reading,
- Jason.

Just posting to let people know I recieved a large number of excellent applications for this and have now selected and contacted an artist who all being well will be doing the job for me.

Thanks for all the great portfolio submissions - I will endeavor to personally reply to all the applicants over the next day or two, but must apologise if I miss anyone. I'll certainly be keeping a lot of your portfolio links on hand for future jobs. :^^:
