Hello everyone.

I'm currently in the midst of starting up a web based magazine doing news and reviews for 1:18, 1:16, and 1:6 scale military toys. This is a hobby i want to take to the next level.

Job:

I would like to get 2-4 original pin-up girl pictures like those on the noses of aircraft and world war II propaganda posters. The main purpose of these images will be to serve as a unique branding for the magazine. They will be featured as part of the logo for the header. The images will also be used on t-shirts and other promotional items of note.

What I need:

I'm looking towards realism, so I'm not specifically looking for any cartoon or anime images, although, if you feel your work stands out, please send me an e-mail irregardless.

I was thinking one girl each for the American, German(no nazi/SS imagery), Russian, and Japanese military's. I'm not sure what my money will get me, so I'll refrain from posting to much of a lengthy detail of what i would love if money were no object. I understand that what i truly want is out of my budget. Something like this (http://www.airbrushing-pin-ups-portraits.org/world-war-two-sexy-pinup-aibrush-art.jpg) would be my "star." It looks like a Hildebrandt brothers painting. I know i can't get that, so show me where the moon is at. That's the "feel" I'm seeking.

If you Google vintage pin up girls, classic pin up girls, World War II pin up girls, etc. you'll get the general idea of what I'm looking for.

The images must stay pg/pg-13, no nudity, but obviously can be somewhat provocative.

My Contact Information:

Don't hesitate to contact me for any information or links to portfolios.

Hopefully someone will be able to help me out. Thank you so much for looking and thanks for your time.

It has almost been two days since I made the original post and i wanted to give an update. I will be "closing" the thread tomorrow morning. If you are interested in the work but haven't submitted an interest, please do so before then.

For those of you who have already responded, I have received your letters of interest and portfolios. Most of all, THANK YOU! The response to the thread has been nothing short of incredible. I've received over fifty (50) responses! All of the art sent to me is amazing. You are all great talents and the selection process will be grueling. I've seen some extremely professional and breathtaking work as I've glanced through each e-mail as it has come in. I will be responding to each of you personally by next week.

Thank you again to all those who have submitted materials and all those who may submit them in the next 24 hours.

As i mentioned yesterday I'm now closing the thread. I had numerous last minute entries and, again, i want to thank all of those who applied. I'm going to be getting knee deep in these portfolios and I'll make my final selection this weekend. I'll be writing every one who applied personally to thank them for their time.

Thank you conceptart.org for giving us "small fries" a place to get some great talents. This has been a great experience and I'll be coming back here for any future positions that need to be filled.

Best to everyone,
-Paul Pratt
