First two sketches

I have been lurking these boards for a while, admiring all the work here... I got a cheap wacom today, an Volito, and its really fun to play around with. I think I will be spending alot of time on this new hobby! :)
Here are my first two attempts:

the second peace is nice because it shows motion.
yet I think you should work them out a little more before posting, then I think you would get more reactions.

looks good for a start. try adding some finer details in the water one..it looks like you use the same size brush. i like it because water is hard for me to draw for some reason ( and i have a wacom in the mail ) so may be ill have a go at it and post my first try here too.

Well yeah, as sketches i consider them finished but I will try and add more detail the next time! I like drawing water because.. i like water! :) When drawing water I think you should look at it as a wavy mirror and just paint what it would reflect, at least when looking at it from some perspective.
