Hello!
I'm would like to admit I am new to forum style galleries. I've never submitted one, but CA.org looks like a lot of fun. Maybe this will open myself up to more artists and a better culture.
I'm a comic book artist currently attending SVA (School of Visual Arts) in NYC. Due to time I don't have a lot to show when it comes to comics. I used to have a comic book up called Before I Sleep, but it was taken down for some polishing. Currently I am trying to find myself and improve my style.
A few artwork for starters.

I did a full digital painting today since I am not good at it. Hopefully through practice I will get better. This is the first fully completed digital picture I have done. Typically I don't get past the eye.
A critiques are welcome for my full digital pieces. I want to improve so any tips would be helpful. Right now I am doing black and white but maybe I can get some color on these pieces.

Nice stuff; I especially like the guy cradling his head in your first post. As for your most recent, is that candy guy snapesnogger's character?

Thanks! It's actually not snapesnogger's character but Nat's character, CruzBones on DA. There's often a mix up because Gemma draws Candyman more.

A practice comic I did making fun of Wesker. This took me a REALLY long time and was pretty hard to do. I've never shaded with pen like this or had this much background. Everything was kind of a experiment. Through this experiment I found that I need to work on my split paneling. People mostly complained about that.
I took out quotes because I thought it looked better this way, but if you want to know what the quotes are, it's from a scene from Resident 5 which goes like this:
Wesker: [Panel 1] 7 minutes.
[panel 3 and 4] 7 minutes is all I can spare...
[panel 5] ...to play with you.

This is a gift to someone that I am working on. I hope it turns out well. This piece is called Warning. The characters are from Invader Zim created by Jhonen Vasquez.
Edit: I really wish my thumbnail would work. -__-.

Hey there, great start to your sketchbook so far. I love how finished your drawings feel. For a crit, some of your full body figures appear to be a little short in the legs, like their torsos are too wide or hips are a little low for their body. Particularly in the 2nd and 5th images in post #2, and the characters in the background of the first panel in post #9. Keep up the good work!

I have a beige box except for a thumbnail and I can't seem to figure out why. It's really annoying.
And thanks. I am happy you like my stuff.

Yallo ITE ...
How are you valuing the last process? You could do a small thumb and overlay it
when it's figured out ... it kinda makes it quicker, for me at least.
Don't be forgetting to squint out the values and see where they pop.
SevenMinutesnoquotes.jpg That pose of the guy on the bottom, that's just wrong. :P
