Hello All,

I am a comic book writer. I have just finished the first issue of a manga inspired super hero comic. It's about a Japanese school girl-turned super heroine. But just because it's manga inspired doesn't mean the art has to be. I'm open to anything from hyper realistic to cartoony or whatever lies in between. Issue two is almost finished and issue three is already outlined. I am interested in self publishing through ka-blam.com and distributing through their sister site indy planet/comics monkey. The creative team gets all profits above printing costs. This is a print on demand service where comics fans can order a book and it will be printed and shipped to them. Of course we are talking 50/50 split. I would really like to collaborate with an artist and create a universe filled with all kinds of super heroes and villains. There is plenty of room for both of our story arcs and characters to come to life. I just want to make an honest to God comic that I can hold in my hands. If you want to, too, please contact me. I know the probability of a large profit is slim to none, but having a finished comic book is great for a portfolio. Let's make a super hero book. I'll email you a pdf of the script if you are interested.:lounge:
