Hi,
I'm working on a competition on www.cgchat.com and would like to know if you guys have comments on it.
It's about creating a beast and rider for 6000 polies max.
Here some concepts

erik that's some great shite. the beast needs to be fleshed out more but I't s cool cause I know your just starting it. I love the imp, you basically stayed true to your concept. This sounds like a cool contest, I should enter. keep posting progress shots. and throw in a link to the actual thread of the contest. it's good to see more poly stuff in this place, I like the sculptures dont get me wrong, but i have a special place in my heart for good ol polymodeling

these are really cool, the concepts arent showing for some reason but i really like the design form what i can see. the imp is awesome especially the detail in his face
i think the ankle on the front leg of the beast is too high, and i think theres too many polies on the kneck (or too little on the legs?)
anyway its a really sweet model/design and could look amazing with a really nice skin

Hi, here some more work on the beast. It should be finished now or i will never make it in time for the entry date :-/
Anyway, i upped the resolution on the beast and now i'll be looking at removing polies until he is on schedule.
I'm thinking on just finishing the creature though and forget about the comp since i have so little time and i like how the beast has turned out.
Here they are
