Sometimes its that alone feeling you get. You know what I mean.
Anyway this came from that feeling for me for varios reasons.

Barely registered and already putting out great work. :) To me this looks like a still from an animation. It's up to you, but maybe add some more peices on the same subject or add stuff in the background, to give the viewer more of a story. That would be cool.
Keep up the good work! :D

I think it's great and you have learned a lot.
Couldn't help noticing how you use line weight.
Great effect IMO.
Btw I didn't see your reply in the other thread.
And I noticed your reply in the thunderdome challenge thread.
Nobody replied yet?
Maybe insult Matthew ... then he might challenge you ;)

Sig/AndyT - LOL Thanks. Looking back and forth between the two your right, I have picked up a lot. The one you linked too was my my 6th or 7th attempt in PS with a mouse even.
Both the image's came from similar pains in my life unfortunatly. Its kind of the little guy inside me I guess lol.
The line weight adds a TON to the image now that I am getting it down :)
So, do you think If I reffer to Matthew as a pencil necked dweb who couldent draw a door on a paper bag to let himself out would work? lol

Really cool. I really like the empty bg as it helps to show his lonelyness.
Mr. T is right about it making a cool animation... :D

from a graphic design perspective the typeface is WAY off. It says hi, I'm malibu barbie not......i'm depressed cause i'm alone. Maybe try a different one with some gusto. a good script font real rough looking maybe

Mr. Teatime - thank's!! I normaly only do pieces like these when I feel cranky and lonely. Tis the season. Anyway I hope not to get to do more of these lol. Signature posted a link to the first one I did a while back.
NOOSE - thank's!! I have a desktop sized one (1024x768) I'll upload later if I remember :) (no promisses)
Aven - thank's!! Um, animation. No clue where to start. I dont suppose I could make a flip book and call it good lol.
madphill - LOL. Erm... I'll work on that! Not sure what a "rougher" font would be. hmmm..... I need more fonts.

This is sweet. I like that the background is vague, because anyone can empathize and insert their own circumstance, etc.
The way the figure is drawn rocks too. It really looks like it's letting out a plaintive wail.
