How to sell trading cards?

My boyfriend has several rare Pokemon cards that are worth money, but neither of us has any experience with this. CA has a lot of nerds so I thought some of you guys might be able to help me out with some information. It would be great if I could sell these and have money to buy art supplies again, some CA downloads, maybe some food.

So hopefully someone knows something, like does it increase the value if the card is sealed and graded? How much does it cost to get this done? Is Ebay the best route?

I guess your best bet would be Ebay, and generally having a card or comic book or whatever sealed and graded does help the value.

I've never been into Pokemon myself, but it seems like its popularity has declined a lot since its hey day. I wouldn't get your hopes up of getting a whole lot of money.

I'm not expecting to make millions off of bits of useless paper, but when you live on macaroni and cheese you'll take what you can get, right?
