thread thumbnails

anyone know how to get a thread thumbnail to display in finally finished?
i was under the impression that it automatically created a thumbnail from whatever pic was in the attachment, but it doesn't seem to want to do it. I tried attaching a thumbnailed sized pic in the thread as well but that didn't work either.

When I saw the title I thought "not another image showcase topic".

All you need to do is upload to attachment. if this does not work then it must be the servers on the fritz.
