Every regular here knows and admires him. The real question is when are his DVD's coming out, and where can we get them?

You know what you should do? Go to someplace you know he'll be, sit down next to him, and start drawing him. Then, when he asks if that's what you're doing, awkwardly deny it. Then make a post about it.

I must concur with the consensus of creepiness that is being cattered by our friend here... although the bonehead nation probably does have a rather dedicated following... Just don't tell me op that you stole a lock of his hair and have some wierd shrine to the bone doc, ok.

Dear Michael Mentler, any thread necros done for the purposes of shameless self promotion should at least include the unveiling of your figure drawing DVD's or Downloads. It's been two years now, and I'm still waiting. If they're already out, can you put a current link in your sig? The youtube trailer is nice but it also doesn't have a current link for purchase.

I really like Mentlers Book of Bones and Hanging FLesh sketchbooks, I have learned soooo much from them. For someone starting studying the human anatomy like me, Book of Bones was really good to starting understanding the base. I try and check on his sketchbooks atleast each day if I can. And I gotta say I really like his "renessance" style, each drawing is like looking at an old master. :P

Imo, he's one of the most inspiring artists I have ever seen.
