Wondering where artists in London/the rest of England are studying/drawing?

I am currently studying at the London Atelier of Representational Art, have received good tuition and work every day with the model.

London artists get in touch would like to meet or hear from you..

jrp, how do you find it there? I'd be interested in it. I like the faculty although they don't excite me as much as ones over in Florence and America do, but some of them have come from the Florence and Angel Academy so I bet they have everything to teach, and it'd be a hell of alot cheaper for me. I'd love to hear back from you!

hi burl,

the lara has a really nice atmosphere.. everything is still new and small as it only started up in september, however, all involved are very dedicated and growing quickly. The morning sessions with the figure 9.30-12.30 are what i enjoy most- teaching is always on hand, and the studio has great light..
have a look at the school website (if you haven't already) www.drawpaintsculpt.com
let me know if you want more info ...
have you studied in florence at all?
it sounds amazing over there, as does new york - just very expensive with living costs included..
london is a great place to study if you can find the tuition and right studio conditions

Thanks for getting back.

I haven't studied over there but I've been working towards doing so. Like you said it's very expensive but from what I was aware there wasn't much alternative but to go abroad. I wanna get some training as soon as I can.

I'm excited that students from the academy's abroad are coming back to set up their own ateliers. England is very lacking (with good ones, at least). But LARA seems quite decent. I'll have to look into it! How much is your accommodation? I understand it's pricey to live in London.
