How can i get more life out of my Prisma Color markers?

they just... dry up. and it's sad, because it's almost 30 cents a marker...

i heard about injecting alchohol into them, that didn't work.

are there any substitutes available?

help me out here i'm freakin desperate.

holy shit, 30 cents is all? man over her its like 2 bucks, but nope, nothin you can do, alot of it depends on what surface you are using the markers on too, so if you are using certain papers, it willl suck them dry faster. use copy paper or marker paper. but thats how they generally are, plus when using them, go fast, they tend to live longer, and if u let them sit for awhile, they regain some live. peace

You know he's right though. I go through about three sets of the warm grays every year. It is pretty bothersome too. Not because theirlife span is so short but because the ink-flow quality gradually decreases after a week or so. It's a long slow death.

If they're dried up, take a piece of string and tie it around the marker. Swing it around for a while and the ink will move toward the tip. Don't do it if there is still alot of ink in it, though...and be careful when you take the cap off...

How about you take the end of the marker off and just blow the ink to the front?
