but the painted versions of them dont look so convincing, i dont know what it is, i guess its the contrast?the sketch is great, the paint is good not great.

I really dig the piece of yours on the first post of the decapitated guy in his destroyed cockpit, so cool!

I love 'em.
Defender 1.jpg Feels big/tall/massive because of the thin lines and smokey ground. [In my eyes at least]

Keep that imagination flowing Akira. [Don't forget to flip the horizon or use a mirror for proportional checks]

Man you've got some really nice designs, I really like your line work but I'm not so sure of your lights and colors, I think sometimes the lights seems to be not so coherent.
Anyway really nice stuff man keep it coming :)

the warm colours offset by cool foreground colours works really well. ur digital paintings would look a lot more professional if u didnt oversaturate the colours so much, especially with this http://www.conceptart.org/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=678470&stc=1&d=1243105286 its way too bright pinky and garish. pushing, desaturating and grouping the darker values would really help bring a greater sense of unity to ur illustrations. i like what im seein tho, nice work!!!

I definitely like your creature designs man.I'm not really a fan of mechanical designs, but the tank illustration is very cool anyhow. For sure I'll get back once in a while to check out your creatures.

Crits: the first 3 images on post #57 are subpar compared to your other work (both from this update and previous updates. Main problem I see is the edges are too messy and blurry.

Asspat: 4th image on post #57 has an excellent mood and treatment to it, definetly a direction I'd like to see more explored from you :)
