You can link to an online image somewhere else with the tag and then tag, or click the square yellow button that looks like a postcard with a stamp on and put the url right into the box that pops up.

If it's your own artwork that's going into a sketchbook thread you're opening or alike, it is preferred that you use the attachment manager, uploading the image to the site, so we don't get a bunch of red x's later. If you look down underneath "submit reply" and "preview post" there's a button called "attachment manager". Use that. You have to fill in all the fields.

If you don't want the images uploaded in the attachment manager to come up in a box in the bottom of your post, click the arrow besides the paperclip on the top row of buttons and pick each image as you want it in your post, with or without text between.
