Revisited vintage scifi

A cover I recently finished for a VBAM book.
Painter and Photoshop... And a lot of hours working on it (mostly 'cause my old computer performance)
I tried to give it a revisited vintage scifi look. Hope you like it!

Nice piece; The composition in particular is very nicely done, and I enjoy all the character concepts and designs as well.

What bothers me is the image is a bit too bright and contrasty as a whole. I suggest using a darker mid-tone to start off with painting to avoid that. Other than that, very strong work, congrats.

Thanks cgaddict. You're right, I think the contrast is too high, mostly between main characters and the background (too dark the darkest zones)

I have corrected the color a bit, mostly the sky background and the face of the human.
