A NYC based clothing company is seeking highly skilled digital illustrators to execute "fully rendered" illustrations of vector based art assets. We will pay $500USD for each final completed asset. Artist with strong fantasy and character development backgrounds are much preffered.
Proposed "final" compositions of illustrations will be provided as illustrator files. These compositions will include layout, type assets and placement on garment as a part of the client brief.
Think of the exercise as "laying color and ink" to another artists "pencil". We are seeking artists with great understanding and capacity of "photo real" rendering in both lighting and surfaces. "Painterly" rendered styles are also acceptable. The artist need not have experience on T-shirt illustrations, or color seperations for screen printing. We will do all of the production work.
Files sizes are generally worked at "actual scale" of garment at 266dpi. Final format may be in Photoshop or Illustrator.
Please submit a website or examples of your work or attach a file for review. A more detailed brief will be sent to artist once we review for hire.

Rhinoboy,
I noticed your post and was immediately interested in the opportunity,
However, I was unable to send an email through-
My experiences as a freelance illustrator have provided me with a portfolio suitable for this type of job. Recently, I designed T-shirts for Rolling Stone Magazine, as well as a few local designers in the area. I have also designed T-Shirts for a Sony Pictures movie. With several years of experience in illustration and design, (and using Adobe Photoshop and illustrator) I am confident I will be a good hire. I am available any time if there are any further questions I might be able to answer for you. Please feel free to contact me with a PM or through my email address on my portfolio sites. Hope to hear from you soon,

Guys, we do not generally like portfolio links in job offers (see this thread (http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=149894) for the specific reasons why).
Please send the job poster private messages with your portfolio links until he has a chance to return and post a functioning email address. Those who have already responded here may want to send a private message as well, as I'm reserving the right to delete all of these messages if this thread starts growing in size and keeps getting bumped to the top.

Ok, as I feared this thread is already a nightmare, and exactly the sort of thread that gets out of hand with portfolio links. I've sent rhinoboy1972 a PM asking him to come back and provide a working email. In the meantime, everyone should contact rhinoboy1972 through PM if they are interested in this job.
I'm locking the thread to keep this from ballooning further. rhinoboy1972 has been instructed to PM me the correct email, at which point I will update the post and unlock the thread. I will also at that time delete all of the portfolio links, so if you're interested in the job PM rhinoboy1972 now, or remember to email him when the info gets updated.

The email address typo has been fixed in the original post, and the two posts have been merged. Please do not leave links in this thread. At some point later today I will delete the posts that did so so we keep a nice clean, easy to read thread, now that rhinoboy1972 has had a chance to see them.
