Hi all, I'm doing a star wars pic for a magazine. I'm gonna do a stormtrooper climbing down a slope (is that the word? sliding down a hill anyways....hope u get it :))....but there isn't that many scenes where the Stormtroopers do just that so I have looked at ref's and tried to get it all together.
Does it look right, off?
Does anyone have a nice , pretty Highres pic saved somewhere showing the small details. Many of the refpics I've found are pretty lowres and as the armour is white it's hard to make out details.
C&C and help greatly appreiciated (well, that word...hardest word in the english language :)
edit** now there is a image as well :)

Oh, if anyone has a good pic of the weapon the stormtroopers use, it is much needed. (He's gonna hold his weapon in the hand nearest the viewer. ) Thanx in advance!

any help needed :)

Big edit**
Ok, I added a cropped version of this image (this is app. A4 size, the printed version will have some Cm extra but that is only jungle so I cropped that out to save some DL-time for u guys.
Easy speaking nothing is finished yet. Ofcourse there isn't going to be white spots and the background is going to have some details as well... I haven't had the time to check in on extra details on the stormtrooper in the front and the second one is just in the beginning (mmh, is the night before christmas eve, 5 in the morning, and I can't sleep... and I got two pics to do over the holidays, gawd ...I am irritated :))
C&C is very much welcome if I'm gonna make this good in time :).

Look accurate. What is the trooper doing though? Standing, sitting, falling? Dosent look like a natural position.

damn!
If I had my little stormtrooper here, and not in a box at my grandparents, I could have photod him :/
Some of the stormtroopers got a pretty downright German WW2 MG42 machinegun.
Others got a smaller gun, but I dont remember what weapon that was based on (maybe it was like the modern british stengun, but without the side magazine, I dont remember clearly)
GL :D

thanx guys, for the help.
Young paddy: Thank you, very good link, and I instantly saw a lot of details I've missed in "my" stormtrooper.

Johannes: Mmh, I had a really large collection of those star wars toys. Then a new friend borrowed them, and in the end that was the last time i saw my "star wars -gubbar"

AI Ian: MMh, I'll post the whole pic...than hopefully it'll all become clear. He's sliding down a hill.

his arm is too short.if you want to have it foreshortened by perspective, you've gotta build it other ways.f.ex. make the forearm thicker and the hand bigger.
