comment on the first picture, blood looks sorta fake..

very good artworks and good compositions.
if i may add a comment i think that in the first picture the head of the character "pops up" too much. It is in shadow, maybe it shouldnt be so much detailled, you have the shadow on the sword almost black, eating the details (good thing i think) and on the face the shadow has almost no effects, like if you simply add a layer of transparent gray over your detailled painting ...
I think it would add dynamic and readibility to the picture if the shadow was a little more pronunced, right now the head is kinda blending with the other guy's arm, we dont have a very good feeling of the depth.

linK: good observation. I've tweaked it a bit, see if that's better?
mime: you're right! I did put a translucent layer on there to put part of his face in shadow. I'll work on repainting it and losing detail.
