This was done as a class assignment and it's my first attempt at a Photoshop painting. Not everything's completely finished and polished off.

I couldn't quite get a handle on the tablet or the feel for the whole pressure sensitivity thing. It kind of screws with the way I draw, and I have some odd habits, like drawing with the paper upside down.

I was also using a very bright, desaturated monitor and I noticed that the color can get quite weird on other monitors.

Watch that hairline.... it creeping down to catch the eyebrows..

Looks good. However his head dosent seem round. Kind of flat. Colors and eyes rock!

Yeah, the left edge was one of the things that I wasn't too pleased with. I might go in and work on it at some point, but it'll be a bit more difficult than it seems since the file has 50 layers and I can't quite remember which ones make up that edge.

I think It'll help to make it look more rounded along with some shading on the other side, but then again I'm not that experienced with portraits.
