The title says it.
When working in photoshop I sometimes get a huge CPU usage spike, this never happened before.
Reinstalling PS doesn't help. I don't notice the spikes in any other application, including painter and various resource whoring games..
I have the scratch disk set to my Slave Harddrive, which has 24gb free space.
PS is installed to my Master hdd which only has 2.4gb left.
It doesn't matter if I'm working at 3000x3000 or 700x700, normal round brush or textured brush, still get those weird spikes. Everything just freeze for a few seconds and it's pretty frequent.
More info.
I haven't installed anything new really, I'm used to working with movies playing on my second monitor, winamp, msn, firefox etc in the background without any issues.
Now it gets like this with NOTHING running in the background. I'm assuming it has something to do with my harddisk space? but I don't really know.
As I said, everything else works as it should, just not photoshop :(
Any ideas..?
