Done a few character sketches, then decided to do a full (oh my god) portrait of the complete, final character.

My main difficulties are his right leg (it seems to be throwing him off balance slightly, but I can't seem to figure out what to change) and of course, the wings. I just realized I hacked off his feet in the screengrab too, I'll post that second time around.

Once again, anything will be greatly appreciated. Gah.

I would think about moving the wings down alittle bit so that they don't obscure his shoulder line. I think that is back leg would be locked up at the knee since most of his weight would be on it. Your best bet would be to do the pose you want in front of a full length mirror and study the position of your legs and where the weight is being placed. For the wings look at pictures of bats for ref. anyways its looking gud!

worked on it for another hour. Changed the leg, mucked with the wings, tightened some areas.. still not sure where to go with it.

Still working on this. Getting really into it. Probably should have worked on the bigger picture a little longer, but I wanted to get his expression down, to give a bit of attitude to the rest of the piece. Headwork.

Slowly but surely. Cleaned up some stuff, messed around with skintone, worked on the anatomy a touch.

Given the size of this latest head, it feels like his torso should be just a little wider, even for a guy as thin as he is. It's making him look a little big-headed.

But I have to say, the facial expression is fantastic.
