hey paddy-
I'll give it a shot I guess. Since nobody else is sayin anything. Firstly, I like the hand. The foreshortening is really good. hands are a bitch for me to do, so anytime I see hands done well I have to say somethin. I feel as though I should see at lest part of the one Jedi's/Sith's back shoulder. Somehow I feel like you've cut it off. I get lost too in the cloths. but pretty good job all and all.

I'm already on www.theforce.net (http://boards.theforce.net) so I have visited swag quite often (I especially like reverend strone/falconers stuff) but thanx for the suggestion anyway, BTW it'll be pretty easy to spot me if you go on the names the same.

I really like the extended hands on both the first two figures. However, the male jedi's rear hand (the one hold his saber) looks incorrect, mainly in the angle of the digits. The fingers all look too squared off and level with each other while his thumb appears to be at an awkward angle. If he's going to be gripping it right around like that, the differences in the lengths of his fingers would be noticeable, and we should actually be getting a side view of his thumb. (Hold a rod like that for yourself and observe how your fingers look)
The female jedi looks flat overall. I think she would benifit greatly from a more well defined and dynamic light source.
The second drawing is very nice. His far arm looks a little wierd and I notice that the tips of his fingers seem to dissapear a bit in the curl of his hand. The thing that really bugs me though is that the angle of the shaft of the mace doesn't match the angle that his hand seems to be holding it at.
Also, the angle of his body is off. Check the angle of his shoulders. Given the way they are positioned, the centerline of his chest (and likely waist) should be off to the drawings right, whereas you have it following the center line from his chin because he is looking straight at us. Make sure you get those angles right before you start in on the rendering.
Hope you don't mind the C&C. :)
(BTW, most drawings go days without anyone commenting on them. So all that means is that you're normal. ;) )

Bit of a doodle I did while watching test the nation, I never mind c&c as long as it's constructive and yours made me look at my posts again, I think I got too close to them.
I've had a quick fiddle with his hand
