Randomly wandering google I stumbled upon this:

Needless to say, it piqued my interest. I contacted a sales rep from the taiwan based company (via email), and she quoted a sample price of 595 dollars (inc air freight.. I think). Pretty sweet! considering the closest alternative is either a tablet PC or a Cintiq.. both of which run about 2 grand. Im a bit concerned though, as Ive never imported anything from another country. I still need to find out if the freight is only covered to the shore and if I need to arrange anything for inland shipping and what kind of stuff I might have to deal with customs, the money also has to be wired...
Anyone here have any advice on importing stuff? I know Lunatique posts here sometimes, and he's from China, but I havent seen him around lately.
