Ok hopefully the sexual inuendo made ya read this.
I got bored one day and developed a web version of the KDE game Konquest.
The game, in case you don't know, is essentially a simplified version of Masters of Orion...it's a multiplayer turn based game written entirely in php. I don't think anything like this has actually been done before (php turn based game that is).
The code is basically feature complete and now I'm just refining the user interface(plus adding a bit more functionallity to the lobby area).
You can preview the game at www.digitallyricist.com/konquest/. It will be pretty obvious that I'm a techie...not very artistic. I am looking for a talented artist who would be interested in helping me make the site look more professional. This would include creating a tileset for the game board, perhaps some background art and flair items to make certain aspects of the UI stand out.
The advantage of this job is that this is a quick and easy job...no more than a day of lazy drawing should be required. This is not something to do for money...it's something which I did for fun & for my resume, and hopefully you will take up this project in the same spirit. If you have the time to play around with some concept art please let me know if you're interested at benjamin.graner@utoronto.ca.
cheers
