I met Dave at my first convention for Gaming n 1980 at the time I didn't
know it was him till after that and at the time we were both having a very heated debate on gaming and what was about and where it was going.
I met him again years later at the same con and he remember me and what we talked about even after near 9 year had passed . WE talked more and I told him I really did know who he was or i would have no had been so hard on thing. He laugh and said you have a good understanding of the game or we would not have talk so long.

Many of the long gamer will be very sad at Dave's passing and i know this man was like family to many that run SF bays conventions and he will be missed a very personal level
I come full circle these day as I now on the planning committee for that same convention now and I know that he will be missed greatly
