this is a painting for class - uhhh started it with very little intent to make it a great one b/c the one done before it was so exhausting - but there's something about it thats okay..it may be done for now due to finals week..but i'd like to work on it more - found glitter nail polish in with my oils, so decided to add :sungod:

have a final project for my computer arts class due this monday - this is the start of the first panel - hope to create a bunch of images based off dogs looking like their owners - and how people who resemble each other are very often attracted to one another - interesting right? right?
ohh i'm having a tough time treating this the same way i would treat
a canvas - my outlines are out of control i think - suggestions?

I really like that "square" watercolour face, it's not something I've seen done before... and I'm feeling very inspired!!! (have another painting due for college so I may give something like that a go!)
I think that first still life is outstanding as well by the way!

Wow, youve done some great work here, definately no "tearing apart" from me! I love your idea of doing the watercolour portait in squares, definately an original approach, and the painting itself was done very well. You pencil work seems to be strong as well, keep on updating, I cant wait to see more! And yes, more figures will never hurt :P Your digital work has improved since the ones you posted earlier in the month, but due to lack of knowledge of that area, I'm afraid I can't offer any suggestions which would help, sorry :S

ButterBunny - awesome, glad you like : ) - can't take any credit for for the idea of squaring though - it was a mandatory project in my drawing class to choose one mark for the whole thing and do the most we could with it - in order from bottom to top, no cheating...
Spirit - thanks!
Here is something I'm working on this very second...due tomorrow.. - and i really need some help, mostly concerned about how to deal with the hair and details on the figures..thanks for looking!

a few things here we worked on as in class things - he was really pushing us to work towards new means of expression - the first two were from a model positioned in front of a tropical projection on the wall. the next was a trip to the dog park - and then trying to make quick figure studies into something
