ok, your first impression is that the glovesd are bright for no reson, il be changing that, its the way i color, so i can get a good picture of where to put my lightsource

I like where you're going ... the cloak is really good, and I esp. like the little purple glare of the edges of the cloak, nicely done.

I dont know how you could improve it at all. As dagreengo said he liked the purple tints i would have to agree with his statement. I als like the softness of the whole image.

The hood doesn't look like it's resting on the character's head (unless he has a beehive type of hair style) and his head-to-body ratio is off. Have you drawn him with out the cape first to make sure your anatomy wouldn't be off? And of course, you really need to pin down your main light, right now, it's a bit all over the place.

I think the torn cuffs (only word I can think of) on the robe blend in too much with the body of the robe behind the arms and hands. I also think the gloves look good how they are now, since the rest of the painting hasn't got a huge contrast or bright colours.
