The mighty Elwell has linked to Pharyngula (http://scienceblogs.com/pharyngula/) in the past, and a posting there led to this hilarious literary review (http://blaghag.blogspot.com/2009/04/book-review-professor-and-dominatrix.html) of The Professor and The Dominatrix.

The review is somewhat long, but probably far shorter than the book, and the best parts are bolded for skimming ease, although you may want to simply savor the whole thing...

The book may rate a -1 for good reading, but this review warrants at least a 7-8...

"Demons working for Satin," indeed...

"She was a connoisseur. A gobbler of whangs par excellence."

Hehehe. Captain Marvel.

For additional lulz, you can read the follow up blog post that contains the sex scene excerpt mentioned in the review. I tried to choose a single smilie that would be able to summarize the overall impression, but came to the conclusion that one simply wasn't enough to accurately represent that masterpiece:

:x :$ :jawdrop: :wtf: :xpld:

Yeah that about covers it.

Oh. God. I missed the follow up...
That woman (Jen ~ the blog author) is truly a talent in her own right.

"Shakespeare might say that this book is an insult to all literature ..." too rich.
