I was inspired by my trip to Havana, a city I longed to see since I was a child. Seeing it I’ve realized that the beauty of this city exceeded my imagination.
It started as a fast painting but I kept adding more details and I couldn’t stop until it became the image of Havana I carried in my heart.
For final details I used textures from 3dtotal.com/general textures
Its my first post here, so comments and crits are welcome

wow, love the textures...
i need to practice doing cities and landscapes
i rarely draw backgrounds, its a bad habit i have to break
so I guess what I'm trying to say is this is very inspiring

i really like it, feels very enclosed by the surrounding buildings and great atmosphere.

however the cars dont seem to fit very well...i cant articulate why coz im nowhere near as good as you at painting... but they just seem to be separate to the overall picture..do you agree at all?

I would agree on the cars being disconnected. There is no sense of depth to me and objects everywhere seem like its own picture. I would have the buildings fade out more and seem less detailed. I would also incorporate the cars more and change the orange cloth and flag, because they both distract my eyes way too much. This is me guessing that wasn't your intentions.
