Hi all!

Here is a Matte Painting. Simply an Alien Village in a huge valley.

My first inspiration was the Protos civilization in the game Starcraft.

I took pictures with a digital camera during a Hiking trip. I mixed it with others and then, painted over that.

Of course, comments are welcome!

Very much like this. You have done a great job in using the mixed media, the mountains certainly look solid, but they almost seem like a Bryce or Terra works. So you made the photograph work, seem almost digital, then painted the city? I like the city layout and the lake up the way. Nice feel, feels kinda cold tho.

Very cool.

I was going to say that the foot prints look a little too painted, but then again, it does fit in with the rest of the painted feel.

Well done.

Thank for your comments.
This is some close-up images of this work to see how it is.
Everything is done in Photoshop, except small 3d grey boxes to help me with the perspective at the begining and then, I painted over it.
