Hi,
I'm trying to find a new life drawing / figure drawing session to attend in the San Francisco bay area. I was going to sessions at Mill Valley Art in Paper but they rented out their studio space to an artist and therefore the sessions ended. Then I went to a few of the MB sessions, as you know those closed due to low funds. So I signed up for a pre-college class at Academy of Art University. It just ended and it costs too much to sign up for again...
If you know of a life drawing session in Marin, SF, The East Bay, etc, then PLEASE let me know. Kemp said something about a Mission session, that apparently ended in December.
I don't know where to post this so I'm sorry if this is wrong.
Thank you!
Jake

BUMP! I know this is very old but I'm looking for another weekly group. Anywhere in MARIN would be preferred.

Never mind, I found this:
Drop-in Figure Drawing Group
Ongoing Mondays, 7:00 - 10:00 pm*
Cost: $15.00/session
Well established and popular Monday night drawing group. Bring your own easel if possible: tables and some easel benches are available but first come/first served.
All mediums welcome.
If you paint in oil, please be prepared to clean your brushes and materials at home to keep the space solvent free.
Last Monday of each month will be one 3 hour pose.
Cash register will stay open during class if you need supplies!
Please come to the back door, located on Julia Street between A and B, and ring the doorbell to be let in.
At Riley's Art Store in San Rafael on 4th street.

Northbay Artworks in Novato used to have a weekly session, you could give them a call. I moved three years ago but it was going strong then.

I'm really glad you brought this up, because the east bay is my second home. I had a rough time finding an affordable figure drawing session. I just went to a piss poor CC that was actually counter productive.
