NooB question about PS

Hi, i'm finding this problem with PS brushes very strange. Photoshop doesnt save the changes I make to its brushes, if i select another one it then reselect the one i made changes to its put back to its oringal settings. its really annoying when i want sertain brushes not to have dynamic shape and other properties... How can i save Photoshop brush options???

All you have to do is this:
Once you have the settings the way you want them, click on the little arrow on the top of the "Brushes" tab. Upon doing so, a menu will pop up and "New Brush" will be what you need to click. It will then prompt you to name the brush whatever you want and you're done.
