Need help.

Hellow ,

i'm working on a oil-painting for a contest , called kunstbende .

The idea i'm working out is farmers(traditional) versus civilians(modern)

but i'm a bit stuck with this one and could use some advice / tips ...

I'll try, but could you be more specific on your problems? For now: make his ear longer and move it up more, closer to the hat. The tip of the ear should be touching the hat. Make the hat bigger, it doesn't seem to be the same size as his skull. Bring the nose down further and you might want to make it a bit bigger. It's hard to tell right now from the postion it's in. I don't know if you can do this or have to start over, as it looks like you are working in pastels? See if you can get ahold of some anatomy books there. Especially ones that show where to place ears, eyes, nose and mouth on the head. Looking through the tutorials on this forum would also help. That's the best I could do for now. Hope it helps.:)
