I'm a writer, and aspiring comic book writer, and I'm planning to start a small business in producing, and in the future...selling online graphic novels and comic books. However, since I'm only a writer, I don't have the skills nor the intellect to actually put art to my words [bad joke], so I'm looking for two artists to join my team.

Firstly, I'm looking for an artist, somebody who knows what their doing, but doesn't have to be industry experienced. This is going to be a learning journey for all three of us, so I'd like somebody who's as willing to grow with this, as I am.

Secondly, I'm still thinking about this...since this is the first time I've actually though about publishing a graphic novel by myself...but if I can find somebody, I'd like to find a colorist. This'll help lighten the load for the head artist, in case we actually decide to publish in color.

Now here's a little information for you to know about the idea I have in mind. It's heavily sci-fi, futuristic, and space centered. The characters live on a space station in Jupiter's orbit, so the ability to draw planets, and space crafts would definately apply to your artistic prowess. Now this is a graphic novel, so I'm not really interested in one style, I'd actually just like to see what people can offer since I'm a fan of realistic, but also stylized art...[manga style persay]. Though I would rather not they have gigantic eyes, but I really wouldn't want them to be hyper realistic either...so you know. However, I'm willing to let you have your freedom, since you will be the only artist, beside the colorist on the team.

I'd like to share more, but I don't trust forums, and I'm still working on getting everything copyrighted, so if you'd like to know more, please email me here: HEARTshapedballoon@gmail.com

Serious questions only please, ^_^.

Now what you'll need to be considered for this possition is a portfolio, of course, a valid email address [for contact], and your ambition [-_- I'm so corny]. You also don't have to live nearby me for us to work together, though that would be a plus. Otherwise, this is an internet business, so your desk is your office. Everything else about the job itself [like possible compensation, and the business plan] will be explained after you've been considered, and before you'll be hired...call it an orientation, and it will be held via online conference.

Okay, so that's all I can think of, and like I said...if you have any questions, feel free to email me, or post here. That's what a forums for. ^_^.

The last thing I will say, though, before I go, is that I'm really looking for a life-long partner, and friend out of this. Somebody I can get along with, and really have fun working with. This is a serious job, yes, but I've never been the type to take things that I love doing seriously...unless I'm getting paid, but we have to be successful first, before we get paid for doing what we love. Right?

Thanks, and I look forward to see who's interested.
