Greetings to all the wonderfull people at conceptart.

I have been roaming this site for over a year now and been completely blown away by all the wonderfull Art and Artists on this Forum.
I have been wanting to post Art for a while now but didnt really have the courage. I am very private if it comes to my art because i never find myself to be good enough.

I have been drawing really serious for about 2.5 / 3 years now. I am currently studying Media and Graphic design but my interest in illustration is ever growing this is what i really want. And in a year i am going to try and apply for Art School

I am planning on joining a model drawing class soon to improve my anatomy + rendering. I also purchased a tablet a while ago but i am kind of in a conflict here. Its really hard to start and any tips or advice on how to start digital painting the best way are highly appriciated.

Please give critique on my posted work. Tell me what you like and what you dont like and how i can get more improvement. And tell me what i need to improve to increase the change of getting accepted at an art school. I am really serious about this and i will do anything.

Most of the drawing are completly from fantasy. A few are from reference or partially from reference. There is one (kind of) self portrait.

This is the first time that i showcase my art in this way so please be nice but be honest .

(Sorry for the bad English and the insanely long post , but this is a big step for me)

Hello there

im back to bring you more sketches from the passed weeks since the first post. I have been drawing a lot and recently i have purchased a new anatomy book that helped me quite a bit. The drawings you see here are pretty much the ones im happy with this is not all i have drawn. I thought i just show you people a selection.
Recently i tried out coloring again since a long while was quite pleased with it although its a small piece

This saturday im going to a local Art Center to get a first look at model drawing and il probably join the group then. I am really looking forward to it.

Hope you guys leave some comments. Il post again when i have enough worthy art to show.

P.S. How can i change the Titel of my sketchbook so i can make it right for the second post

Greetings to all people of concept art. Its been a long time since i uploaded things. I have been drawing my ass of. These are some drawing from the last few months. I have the desire to produce more finished work these days. Try to include backgrounds/ scenes in my drawings.

Also have i been experimenting with different mediums of coloring. I have one submittion that is done with Acrylics. Unfortunately some of the drawings were made on a3 paper so some arent 100 % visible

Hope you like some of the stuff would really appreciate some comments / criti's

Let me be the first to comment on your sketchbook! You have some good studies already, however, keep doing them! I'd draw a little less from imagination and more from reference, that's the only way to nail a subject... Do portrait studies, muscle studies, pose studies, environments, ...

Keep it up, and come have a look at my sketchy in my sig!

Hi thank you for your comment on my posted work. I actually do draw from reference pretty often. I am even going to my first model drawing class tommorow. I do enjoy it as a way to practice but i enjoy drawing things that come up in my head even more. I do try to balance it a bit. You should know that the post of yesterday does show how i draw now not so much the older posts. i checked out your sketchbook to. You seem to be making some pretty nice progress there

Very nice rendering! I agree with Cranberry, and am struggling with the same issue - more studies! also, there are several methods of "building up" a figure, to make it look correct in 3 dimensions - either through a stick/ skeletal way, or "blocks" ( form in space as opposed to contours.) your pencil skills are there, just need the underlying structure. Good work, keep it up!
