Hey! I'm Marie, a 15 year old girl from Canada's west coast. I enjoy art, clothing, shopping, and make up. I swim competitively, so that takes up a lot of my time; it's fun too, though. I enjoy music, big fan of Kanye and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. If you have any suggestions for new beats feel free to tell. I want to improve my art, however my main passion is fashion. (How lame does that sound?) So I'm hoping this site can improve my technical skills. Stuff like that.

Some new art tonight, did not have an incredible amount of time to do stuff thanks to Shakespeare, the Tempest, and my English teacher. Oh well.

Damn! Did not have much time today. I went to see Beyonce live yesterday. She's amazing. I really enjoyed it. Also enjoyed seeing my math teacher swallow salt water while giving us a huge test (that I probably failed). I love April Fools day. Anyways just a quick sketch coloured in with some crayolas I nicked off my sister.

Today's drawings, more of my lips and that 30 sec pose thing. It's a lot harder than it looks. I'll have to work on that. On a side note my little sister ruined 30 dollars worth of my lipstick today and I had a panic attack because a spider crawled on me. Not a great day.

Ahh, Spring is in the air. It's finally time for me to get out my micro-minis and hot pants and for hot guys to start going shirtless. To celebrate I went down to the beach to do some people watching and drawing. Along with a few sketches from that pose sight. It was a happy day.

Went to a pretty good party last night, but man was I paying for it this morning. I probably drank like 5 litres of water when I got up. Anyways some hands and noses. Not the greatest.

Part of an ad from Louis V. I don't really feel like I captured the model's mood like in the photo. Which was my favourite part of it. Anatomicaly-wise, (I don't think that's a word), her legs seem kind of odd.

Very busy in the past couple of days. Here's a quick life drawing I was able to sneak in of a girl playing her clairenet for my english class.

Clocking in aboout 13 hours a day this weekend at the pool. The rest of my time is spent sleeping. Not really giving me a lot of spare time. My water bottle.

Thank god that weekend is over. Really stressful. On another positive note I've got more art to post. People in my classes and such.

Draw every day, and draw everything you can! Get off to a coffee shop and draw some people, go to the zoo and spend the day drawing all the animals, do everything you can to improve. Keep up the intensity and the passion!
