Thanks, I love watercolor! And your watercolors are lovely, too.. i've seen a couple of yours! great colors in the snow and use of limited palette. Do you use masking tape in your watercolors to protect your whites?

hi! i only started to use masking liquid just recently, it's really wierd stuff... thats very impressive you are able to get such clean whites without it! ... i love using ARCHES watercolor block (18x24)... it is the best paper i found. sometimes i'll use regular canvas paper because its easier to rub out

judging by your watercolor pic, you use the textured kind, maybe 300 lbs?

Holy shit. Everytime I think I have seen something that kicks all ass on this site I find something even better. This is up there as one of the best I have seen so far, and your landscape is awesome too. Being new to watercolor I am amazed. Keep up the good work, I'll look for more of your posts.

Ochre Face-
hi! thanks, your answer.
i like 185g~200g WHATMAN paper, however it some thin....
but i like rough embossing texture of it, it led to random brush stain. i love it! :D
but this work used weighty paper like your judging. sharp eye:alien2:

Grooveholmes-thanks!...:chug:

SamusNeo-thanks! :chug:

yeahhhhhhh. thats pretty dang nice. ehehhahaha. It reminds me of the end of evangelion, in the respect that there are some funky shaped creatures that look more like symbols than creatures, and I see that there. The confrontation in this piece is amazing.. The human at the bottom pales in comparision to the significance and power the the spirt .

dodowa, the masses scream for some tech talk respectively a tutorial!

if you fulfill their request, they will love you even more and you have good chances to marry natalie portman and become president and world famous and and and...

:chug:

i love the new picture btw. i would have chosen to give the siren vehicle a bit more of a unelegant look on dry land. i imagined it more like jellyfish: as long as they are in the water, there's nothing more graceful but once they are on dry land, they look like spilled jam.

hey dodowa-san, that harrier is great!

it reminds me a bit of the sketch work of yoji shinkawa, the concept artist for metal gear solid.

that rippled air below its engines is absolutely awesome!

Your work is so powerful dodowa and the expressions you portray in your images is quite amazing. Your work kind of reminds me of the impressionists combined with early Japanese line art but with a way more amount of detail. Your use of colour is awe-inspiring.
I hope you don't mind me asking this but have you ever tasted dog in Seoul and what does it taste like?

no , im not jpnese , i am chinese ^^ i am learning how to speak jpnese right now though , so i could read a little bit of the stuff you posted. Something about evolution back to fish , and ridding ourselves of the two feet for the sake of the "final evolution" ,and returning to the civilisation in the sea. is this for a game ? if so , is it a korean or jpnese game ?

i learned some korean words from my korean friends here , but i only know how to say bad words like "chu go" =P

can you speak jpnese ?
