new guy with some drawings

hello, been doing some drawings and thought i'd post em so you guys can critique em.

Not bad. The proportions have some issues. You might want to skip the shading for the time being and work on line. Try getting a rough outline of the figure blocked out with diagonal lines, and keep checking that things are lining up correctly. If you can, stand back from the drawing about six feet and look at it while looking at the model as well. Once you're satisfied, go in and draw the contour lines. Try using lines also to define the form instead of using tones.

thanks for the crit mtw, what exactly is it that seems out of proportion to you? alot of times i dont notice these things when im drawing em.

The heads and bodies seem good sizes, but the arms and hand are undersized. In the third drawing, it seems like you had an idea as to what you wanted to put down, but then ran out of paper so you drew the legs and hands smaller. Try to first get in a really quick outline of the whole person so you can make sure everything will be where you want them.

The last drawing is pretty good, although the knees seem a little low or the bottom half of the leg is too short.

i see what you mean, hands are something i need to work on.

and I did this sketch to see how much anatomy I know off the top of my head. I still dont feel confident about the hands and feet, and i find the forearms to be confusing too.

hah i think i know who you are. I definitely saw that head drawing before.
The anatomy drawing is awesome, i wish i knew it that well. keep it up.

really winjer? I didnt expect that. we must be in the same class then its the only way you couldve seen it.
