A New Way of Sharing Your Drawing Action Time - Live Feed Channel

A while back I found this site called mogulus, that lets you have a live stream channel for free and at better quality than ustream.

Reciently its become pretty popular on the vent and it's time to share the love.

Its a great tool to do real time crits and just show the world what your working on and see how others go about their painting/drawing process. I've also found it to be great when doing collab work or in my case working with my inker. he can see in real time what I'm doing, and can make suggestions early on in the process. Its made work flow way easier. Also a brilliant tool for demos.

But anyway Below are tutorials for both pc and mac on how to set up channel and live stream your desktops.

hey.. i don't think people realize how great this is... i watched ethan and davi paint and we shared some critique.. it really really neat and i hope more people get around to use it.. a bit hard to set up but super nice.. especially in combination with ventrilo..

Pardon me for bumping this, but I'm wondering if there's any sort of way to communicate to others on when a live feed turns on. I would definitely want to watch other feeds and I would appreciate it greatly if I got the occasional critique too. Ventrilo or something like that? Just kind of inconvenient having to guess when people get on.

Nice. But the details and stuff can be seen better if you use something like Logmein, for example. I wonder if I could use the software drivers for displaying the screen on like a webcam with a friend or something. Then I could get the higher quality.

Edit: Ooooh, you can! Even streaming this at half resolution would be neat~

For those of you using the links in the tuts about getting things set up correctly, http://www.livestream.com/userguide/index.php/Use_Flash_Media_Encoder_On2_Flix_live_or_Wirecast_ with_Livestream is the new link for info on downloading Flash Media Encoder and setting up an FMS url. Apparently mogulus has become Livestream now. Everything else seems to be working the same so far.
