I dont know why you havent gotten more comments for this but it looks like you put some effort into it and it looks nice.
I think you should get bolder and darken his face a bit more where the light is coming from, he has very dark skin to begin with so you should get away with it, Your rendering on the side of the neck looks great. I would push it further n the lighter area.

HI The Bear
I had a look at your drawing. I thought it was well done. The shading over all seemed to work well. As ChadTHX1138 mentioned you could push the shading over to the light side more, and I think that would be a good idea. But if you want to have it appear as though the Troll is in a bright light, as it seems to be the case in this drawing. You could just bring out his silhouette more with minimal shading around him.
I spent 5 minutes on a quick example for you to see. I did darken his mouth, nostrils, and eyes a touch. But you can take that as far as you want.

Woah, not only was the first picture awsome but the modified one looks like a picture of a sculpture. I learned something:)
