I am looking for someone who might be interested in doing a map for the boardgame Crowns of the North (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/40852).
Crowns of the North is an - as yet- unpublished boardgame that I and a colleague have developed. We have been running test games of the boardgame for the past year, and will shortly be looking to start submitting it to various publishers. We will also be running a tournament with the game at Arcon 2009 (boardgame festival in Oslo).
For the latter event, we would love to have the players playing on something more elaborate than the current prototype artwork. The playing area is essentially a map of Scandinavia, in addition to some game boxes (for combat results, pieces, et al.). The map should look a bit old (game period is 1500-1800s).
Contact me by PM if you are interested.
Note: No payment, beyond the exposure to be gained from having your work displayed at various conventions. Can't promise anything more than that at the moment.
