Hi everybody, I am almost new to the whole 3d world and just beginning to learn Sketchup, If I wanted to do a tire (off road type) how would you pull off the embossed tread patterns on it? Say I came up with a pattern is it possible to just copy paste it around the shape? Any information on how to do this the less painful way. Thanks in advance!

Hi Damariss. Not sure if you have run across this website yet, but it pretty well covers everything you could want to learn about Sketchup.
SketchUp Sage (http://sites.google.com/site/sketchupsage/)
You should be able to find some links there to what you are looking for. If not you can try and look on Youtube some good stuff there.

Thanks. I've seen the tutorial before, not exactly the kind of tire I had in mind but I might be able to tweak or toy around with Sketchup based off of his way...
