I usually charge $40-50 per page, including pencil, ink and shadowing (I can do lettering if needed).

Having worked in a field for just two years, I can at least tell you that pricing, for the most part, is subjective. If you meet a writer, who has a project that you just feel is going to take off, you might not want to price your self out of it (although I wouldn't really recommend working for free, unless your getting co-ownership or something). Not sure if this helps, but hit me up if you have more questions. ;)
