Stygian Realms is an independent project. It is a Massively Multi-Player Role Playing Game (MMORPG) that I and a few friends are working on and testing. I am using Realm Crafter a commercially licensed engine as the basis of the game.

I am a scripter, programmer and writer, but I am not a proficient artist. I have worked as a computer programmer for the last twelve years. I have some art that came with the purchase of the engine, but I need concept artists and animators to assist in producing additional artwork and models for the project.

The game is in Alpha testing at the moment so very early in the development lifecycle. The website for the game is also very simplistic and is primarily a meeting space for development and summary of the background for the game world. Though that will change as more progress is made towards a finished product.

Our intention is to move forward to an open beta of the game in three to four months using very basic models and content provided with the engine and some additional purchased artwork. I will be performing much of the scripting and database design. However I would prefer to have more unique artwork, models and character design, especially for some of the more unique player races in the game.

I am hoping some artists might be interested in participating in this project. However, besides offering an opportunity to be creative, I can only offer some assistance with any programming questions you may have on other projects and of course credit in the game credits and on the game’s website.

I am more than willing to share the alpha client with you so that you may see the project thus far.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

The website for the game is http://www.stygianrealm.com
