We were both happy to do a character based piece combining old and futuristic themes this was the result
Topic: Ragtag futuristic pirate leader - based on earth in 2050 armed with guns and Melee Weapons.
Brief Background History
"Technology has advanced enough but not massively and is still based in real world terms. The boat trade is still in high use and pirates once again use the seas as a means to supply the popular and expensive goods people want. Clans battle for ownership of ports, docks and territory"
So to design a Pirate Clan leader with armour and weapons to do battle with the rival pirate clan leader.
Media : final piece of the character in colour. this can be in static or action pose. A backdrop can be included in either but the main focus should be the character.
Pencil sketches and roughs can be added if required everything else is open to discussion?
Should be Good! looking forward to this

Unfortunately my scanner sucks:rant: and the gun on top and on the right aren't clear. I'll post some wip now and then. (aargh only 16 days left!) I really have to put all my effort in colouring now, since i have to do everyting with a $#%&! mouse!
Well, that's it for now. Looking forward to seeing some more!

your piece is amazing! I especially like the background. well, i'm all done too now..finally! I put a lot of time in this one. I fell in another bad habit of mine, and put too much time in those little details:( I quickly made a crappy background, just for the atmosphere. I learned alot making this piece too, and enjoyed it a lot, although at times I became quite frustrated  . i posted them in the final images section as well.
Anyway, it's been fun 'battling' with you.
